Xaash: Fire in Kaas City

Xaash was born on Korriban, out of his parents' desire for tradition. She lived in a small wooden house surrounded by stone statues of ancient sith from Dromund, behind Kaas City, facing the jungle. His parents were oddly selfless for Sith. They had the same principles, the same laws and ambitions as the Empire, but liked to help others, as long as they did not belong to the Republic. A poor old man, bearded, hunchbacked and dressed in an old gray cape and a worn hood, came regularly to beg a little to eat at their house. After which he returned to see his "poor people" deep in the jungle to share. Xaash was intrigued and rarely stayed on her visits.

Xaash had no friends. She often went into the forest, but not very far, because her father had forbidden her to move away from a certain perimeter. His little brother, Emile, was quiet, and Xaash didn't stay with him much. He left home to train to become a Sith, shortly before the incident.

One day, at the age of 5, little Xaash went to play in the forest of Dromund Kaas. She followed a small lizard to the proscribed limit. After playing with him for long minutes, she heard screams in the distance, lightsaber sounds, then an explosion. Panicked, she runs to her house. Just out of the jungle, she observes with fear her house in flames. After calling him shouting, she sees her mother crouching in the house, holding her father in her arms. Suddenly, a beam and two of the large stone statues crumble above the house. Xaash instinctively raised his arms and forcibly supported the heavy stone blocks above the roof, but shuddered from the pain.

She looked her mother in the eyes one last time, and, exhausted, lowered her arms....
